What they faced
Tower cranes need high power for seconds at a time, so their generators are sized for the peak and burn fuel all day at low load. Horizon Plant wanted to cut fuel and emissions without losing performance.
What we deployed
How MAX solved it
Mobile MAX units run in hybrid with tower crane generators on construction sites and at venues including Dublin Zoo. MAX carries the base load and the start-up peaks; the generator runs only to recharge it.
