The challenge
What they faced
The UK's flagship low-carbon infrastructure project runs electric excavators on a site with no grid connection. Charging them from diesel generators would undo the point of electric plant.
What we deployed
How MAX solved it
Four MAX500 systems have been charging electric excavators on site since January 2026, with 240kW DC fast charging and no grid connection. Delivered through SiteCharge for the Bouygues Murphy JV.

"The MAX500 can easily be run by users on the ground and not cause headaches. The Allye team is always on the end of the phone, to address issues or support as we learn."Carl Langwood, Bouygues Murphy JV
